So, I thought a good place to start would be at the end...
At the end of each month.
I've decided to have a recap of the last month, each month and that way, hopefully, I will be able to produce a healthy looking blog. I did say 'healthy', as in bursting with words but this does not necessarily mean it will be educational to a budding writer, interesting to a potential fan or informative to an already established author. It will just be my ramblings about anything that I can think of that may have happened during the last month.
So here goes...
September was an interesting month in the fact that I sent my second manuscript, 'Calling All Dentists' off to the publishers for that dreaded 'Reader's Report'. Gulp! I await their verdict in anticipation and spend every night in a sleepless haze of fear, rejection, 'will they like it - won't they like it' fretful stupor. But hey... It's only my book, it only took me 9 months of hard toil, tears and tantrums (Synopsis-tantrums) and it's only 89,940 words, typed from raw, blistered fingers. So if it's not what the publishers want - then why am I worried?
In the meantime, I have been very busy, marketing my poor, neglected first novel, Calling All Services. Reviews, reviews, reviews - that's what everyone tells me. I need lots of reviews. So, to all you lovely reviewers out there - please review the possibility of reviewing me.
I have also had some fun this month after discovering bookcrossing.com. This is a site for books that works in a similar way to the 'Travel Bugs' on the Geocaching website. A brief explanation follows.
